Azerbaijan-Turkish Industrialists and Business Association (TUSIAB) members visited South Africa to conduct business with Local companies. Tusiab members had bilateral meetings with the couple of companies in Johannesburg.
Kerim Oksuz, Chairman of Alaturca Naturel Stone provided valuable information about South African Market.

A number of officials from Department of International Relations and Coorporation (DIRCO), led by M Bona,Chief Director of Centre and Eastern Europe Desk visited Turkish companies in Johannesburg
During this trip, accompanied by Mr. Yusuf Sariyaprak, Chairman of South African-Turkish Business Association, Chief Director and his colleagues visited some Mining, Furniture, Textile, Food sectors of businesses.
Chief Director M Bona expressed his appreciation to the Turkish investors for their hard work and contributions to the South African economy through the creation job opportunities for local people. He also pledged to assist them over any challenges that they have encountered due to administrative measures. Turkish investors also expressed appreciation to M Bona and his colleagues for their sincere concern about their business operations.

South African Ambassador to Ankara Turkey His Excellency Tebogo Seokolo and Siyabonga Ponco From Department of Foreign Affairs Eastern Europe visited SATBA last month.
Chairman of Satba Fabcos President Mr. Zwane, COO Mr.Campbell Ceo Mr. Usiba Satba, Horizon Educational Trust Gauteng Director Ali Aydin, Turquise Harmony Institue Director Aydin Inal, Sumo Coal Chairman Semsettin Caliskan and Alaturca Naturel Stones Chairman Kerim Oksuz welcomed Ambassador Seokolo’s presence.
According to the Ambassador, South African-Turkish Business Association has been playing a major role in promoting amity between Turkey and South Africa recently by creating a mutual understanding for an economic and cultural development in both countries. He, as well, envisaged more exchanges and cooperation between Turkey and South Africa in the field of trade and industry in the future.
His Excellency Mr. Seokolo then visited Sumo Coal office in Sandton and Horizon International High School in Turffontein. He commended the school about its national and international successes. He congratulated the school staff for their contribution to international cultural exchanges, and he made a point of praising the school for its role in this regard.

SATBA Secretary General Serkan Ergul together with Horizon Educational Trust Project Coordinator Mustafa Eroglu and Turquoise Harmony Institute Director Aydin Inal joined the Premiers Gala Diner. Gauteng Premier Nowbula Mokonyane was addressing West Rand executive mayors and business people during the diner. Premier stated their ambition to feed a million families by launching the Food Bank. Premier added that they need partners in the form of business people and executive mayors to come together and join them in alleviating poverty in the province. |

SATBA Chairman Mr. Yusuf Sariyaprak S. General Serkan Ergul, Members Omer Erol and Mustafa Erkan visited H.E. Ambassador of Turkey to Pretoria Mr. Can Altan
Mr. Sariyaprak gave detailed information about SATBAs mission and its role in strengthening Turkey’s and South Africa’s trade relations.
Mr. Ambassador said that he really appreciated all the activities of SATBA as an NGO and H.E. added that He was ready to cooperate with SATBA for benefit of two countries.

A joyfull picnic was organized and sponsored by Satba Member Mr. Ali Kervanci, It was great opportunities for Members to mingle with each other. People enjoyed braii, kebap and Turkish Baklava. It was a fun filled day for families and children.

Koketso Calvin Seerane, The Executive Mayor of Mogale City Local Municipality, was visited by SATBA Secretary General Serkan Ergul and Project Coordinator of Horizon Educational Trust Mr. Mustafa Eroglu at Executive Mayor’s office.
During the meeting, The Mayor was enlightened about the mission and activities of SATBA, and further relations between Satba and Mogale City were discussed. Besides, detailed information about Turkiye-World Trade Bridge 2009 was presented with an introduction Dvd.
